In this journey between two worlds – “ours” and the “Solid World”–, the main character, Douglas, has incredible adventures to fulfill a mission. He meets giant spiders, talking animals, pirates, a mermaid, a mining dwarf, a flying carpet, a golden palace… Ideas and preconceived notions about how humans live their lives, war, relationships with animals and respect for life in different forms are some of the themes of this novel, accentuated with rich images.
