In order to write this book, Rodrigo Lacerda read official reports, mostly from science magazines that present research on pollution and global warming. Some proposals, which he classifies as eccentric, suggest that citizens share equally the damage resulting from environmental problems, instead of trying to eliminate them. Every day is Doomsday uses a peculiar, good-humored voice to introduce a science magazine journalist sent to cover a UN event that discusses the ways in which we can ensure the lives of future generations. The man is shocked with the absurd ideas proposed by scientists. The resignation in the scientists’ views inspires the journalist to reevaluate his way of life on the planet, his choices and his relationships. To conclude, Lacerda invites the reader to think again about the environmental crisis.
