About the book

Lemuel Gulliver is a surgeon who loves cruises. Over more than sixteen years, he has several adventures and five of his journeys are incredible: he explores an empire where people never grow to more than six inches tall; a kingdom where the smallest dwarf is nine meters tall; a flying island; an island of sorcerers; a country of civilized horses and wild hominids. In a story narrated in the first person, the main character, Gulliver, talks about his travels in which fantasy predominates, stimulating the reader’s reflection about our own behavior, values and attitudes, which are not always consistent. A masterpiece by one of the greatest writers of the English language.
