About the book

The legend of the koi and the dragon is the theme of the two stories in this book. A girl and a boy, both Brazilians of Japanese descent, go to Japan for different reasons. Kaori, the girl, has won the International Design Competition and is traveling to develop her project. Hiroshi, known as Japa – a very shy boy, who plays soccer incredibly well –, goes to Japan with his mother, who is moving there for work. Just as in the legend, the two kids will have to fight hard to achieve their goals in this novel of persistence, discipline, and passion.
