In this novel, Paula Fábrio portrays the historic mobilization of students against the reorganization of public schools, proposed by the government of the state of São Paulo, Brazil, in 2015. In addition to acting in defense of education and the school community, the characters build a space for mature and experience the dilemmas they all face in adolescence. Themes such as uncertainty about the future, choosing a professional career, discovering love, the body and sexuality are topics explored in a narrative with fluidity and enriching dialogue. The author gives voice to theyouth and allows the reader to identify with the characters, contributing to the development of critical thinking and literary sensitivity.
