Everything starts when a book goes missing, taken by a dog. But where does the dog go? It goes chasing after a cat, who’s looking for a rat, who starts running… and so, other characters start appearing. At each turn of the page, the reader is invited to look for the animals on the run and to discover where the book is going to end up. The detailed illustrations and the playful text encourage children to explore the entire surface of the pages and to make up their own stories.
